St.Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar Jaipur was filled with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere on 19th November 2016 as it celebrated the Annual Sport Meet at Rajasthan Sports University ground. Almost all the students from Pre-primary to Senior Secondary participated in the event. Mr. Ajoy Sadany DIG (RPF) was the Chief Guest, Mr. Surendra Pareek (MLA) and Prof. M.S. Chundawat Secretary Sports Board were the Guests of Honour. The Sports Day commenced with the release of balloons by the Director along with guests.
The play held was based on demonetization for the awareness of Common but important issues faced by common people which affects the middle class & lower middle class. This play was based on a marriage planning by a middle class family & their critical problems like arrangements & Payment to workers, decorators etc. The cash received by bride is also hampered for these problems how bride & her family took a stand & make guests aware of real meaning of marriage & received their cooperation in this.
Group of 20 people including pupils and staff from St Dominique, France visited St Edmund's School, Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur, India during the Diwali festival to understand the varied culture of our country and education system The group visited various famous places in and around the Jaipur city and also visited the Taj Mahal in Agra.
St Edmunds school, Jawahar Nagar conducted a workshop on POCSO. Pratima Srivastava, counselor and advisor of the school guided the staff members and other authorities of the Institution and explained in detail about the Protection of Children from Sexual offenses 2012. The workshop was knowledgeable as protective measures along with the involvement of parents in the life of kids were highlighted. She also gave 24- hour child helpline number 1098. Further; She spoke about the school committee members who are always ready to help the students.
Keeping the festive spirit alive. Dusshera was celebrated at St. Edmunds School Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur. Various activities including poetic Ramayana and a dance glorified the occasion. To mark “lord Rama” Victory” over Ravan and reinforce the message of that good always triumphs over evil, the effigy of Ravan was burned. Administrator Dr. Pooja Singh blessed the participants and students while inspiring them to follow the path of truth.
First aid demo was held at St. Edmund’s School. It focused on the aspect of first aid care, such as wilderness first aid or training for professional emergency responders, in this training the children were informed on how to deal with common injuries such as cuts, burns, back injuries and head injuries it helped the children to learn the basics & how apply it to reduce the risk of injuries. Students were also informed about what is to be included in the First Aid kit and how important it is to be kept in everyone’s home.
To create the awareness in society Saint Edmund's School Jawhar Nagar, Jaipur Organized a Nature Walk in nearby localities the rally started from St. Edmund's School Jawhar Nagar, Jaipur to Bhagat Singh Park, Rajapark the main aim was was to make our society aware about the Caring Nature and to change the world for a better tomorrow.
St.Edmund’s School Jawahar Nagar Jaipur conducted a workshop on 2nd Aug 2016 for the senior students. In this workshop many famous universities from the U.S.A. like Hillsborough Community College, New York Film Academy, Ohio University, Savannah College of Art and Design, Suny Plattsburgh, University of California, University at Buffalo, University of Oklahoma, Washington and Jefferson College, etc. guided students about various career options available and how they can become a part of it. They also highlighted the scholarships granted by these universities for higher studies.
