In a thrilling showcase of athleticism and skill, St. Edmund's School, Jawahar Nagar, secured an impressive victory at the 67th District-Level Taekwondo Tournament. The closing ceremony of the event, marked by traditional rituals and esteemed dignitaries, celebrated the school's outstanding performance on the taekwondo mat.
The ceremony commenced with the garlanding of Lord Ganesha, invoking blessings for success and harmony. This spiritual opening set the tone for the exciting festivities that followed.
In the Girls 17-19 category, Maheshwari Girls Public School emerged as the champions, demonstrating their unwavering dedication and prowess in taekwondo. Vimukti Girls School claimed the first runner-up position, while St. Edmund's School, the host institution, proudly secured the second runner-up title.
Meanwhile, in the Boys 17-19 category, MPS International School displayed remarkable strength and technique to clinch the championship. St. Edmund's School, Jawahar Nagar, showcased their mettle yet again by securing the first runner-up position, and MHS took home the second runner-up trophy.
