In a step towards deepening the understanding of school health and wellness, St. Edmund's School, Jawahar Nagar hosted a CBSE Capacity Building Workshop for teachers. The workshop witnessed the participation of around 55 educators from Rajasthan, Gujarat, and the Ajmer region, making it a significant learning platform.
The workshop focused on fostering a healthy school environment, with the theme being School Health & Wellness. Esteemed resource persons, Ms. Rita P. Taneja, Principal of Maheshwari Public School, Kalwar Road, and Ms. Kamaljeet Yadav, Principal of Subodh Public School, Rambagh, led the session, sharing their insights and expertise on the subject.
The workshop engaged participants in interactive activities and wellness games, ensuring the practical application of ideas. Handouts containing guidelines on implementing school health and wellness practices were also distributed among the attendees, providing a useful reference for future use.
The session was highly appreciated by all participants, who found the information shared both enriching and actionable. By the end of the day, educators left with a deeper understanding of the importance of wellness in schools and how to promote it within their respective institutions.
