Tanisha Ghai and Shubham Kumar of class IV of St. Edmund's School, Jawahar Nagar participated in National Coding Olympiad 2021(Codingal). The project was to create a game using the jungle as background. It enhanced the coding skills & proficiency among the students. It offered hands-on learning & improved their online coding skills.

It’s a proud moment for our school to announce that Tanisha Ghai secured 5th position out of 514 projects submissions from all over India.
It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to perform under the guidance of our computer teacher Mrs Anju Wadhawan.

Our Respected Joint Director Dr Pooja Singh, gave gratitude to the entire team and told the students about the unprecedented opportunities that lie ahead of them through coding.

To instil the values of justice, equality, liberty and fraternity among our children and to make them aware of their rights and duties St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar celebrated Constitution day and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in collaboration with the Ministry of Women and Child Development.

The students participated in the quiz & took the pledge to abide by the constitution & adhere to the duties & responsibilities of responsible citizens.

Deserving young talents of St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar, were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their School from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence.

It was a solemn occasion where the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted to them by the school. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of leaders and a sense of responsibility the “Student Council” was formed. The students pledged to serve the school with knowledge, power, duty, discipline and to fulfil their responsibilities to the best of their abilities. Badges were pinned to the newly elected members of the Council. The student council under the leadership of Head of Council –Chahat Hardasani and Kanishka Saini along with members & the prefects took the oath to abide by the school rules and hold the school motto of Loyalty, Truth and Honor in high esteem.

The function was presided over by the Joint Director Dr Pooja Singh & Principal Mrs Anu Bhatia congratulated the newly appointed council members. In her address, she reiterated that student council posts were about responsibility and authority.

St. Edmund's School School, Jawahar Nagar had organised a two days event "Science Dimension" for classes VI to XII.

Students participated in various science activities like Group discussions, Open seminars, quizzes and working projects. They had presented their ideas on current topics of science like nanotechnology, human cloning, nuclear science etc. They had also worked on various working and still projects.
Teachers appreciated the use of innovative ideas and how the students took an active part in brainstorming activities and discussions.

Our school Joint director Dr Pooja Singh and Principal Mrs Anu Bhatia expressed their warm appreciation to the teachers and students as it was a quite informative and productive session that will further develop their technical and conceptual perspective towards education.

This Teacher’s Day, IIHM Jaipur presented the 6th Teachers Day Award 2021, to our Deputy Director Mr Kapil Singh the other members of school management were also felicitated for recovering and revitalising education for the covid 19 generation, in recognition of the excellent work they have done at St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar.

We at St. Edmund’s are extremely grateful for the work our management team have done, and continue to do, to enrich the academic lives of their students. We feel very fortunate to have them as our mentors. Their efforts have raised the school to new heights and enhanced its national and international reputation.
