Earth Day

To create awareness about protecting our planet and preserving the environment, St Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar celebrated Earth Day. The theme for Earth Day 2021 was " Restore Our Earth".Our students have shown their love and respect for our mother earth by doing great efforts by planting saplings and creating things such as a pen stand, waste bin, and decorative items from the things available at home. They were sensitized about the importance of saving the environment by making posters and drawings.

Film Screening in joint collaboration with Embassy of France

To inculcate the habit of deep learning St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar in collaboration with the Embassy of France, organized a screening of a French Film (Stars by the Pound) followed by a workshop which was resourced by Film pedagogical experts Neha Jain and Anne Doshi. The movie screening followed by the fruitful workshop was the cherry on the cake. It was such an enriching session about the media's influence on different body types and shapes. The workshop comprises 2 activities based on “being me”.

The British Council conferred the International School Award on St Edmund's School

St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar has earned the prestigious ISA ( International school award) reaccreditation for 2020-23. It is a moment of pride for the school as it is for the third time.

The British council International school award (ISA) is an accreditation scheme that recognizes & celebrates exemplary practices of internationalism in schools with a blended approach of learning and growth in all spheres.

Spectacular performance in Class X Examination 2020

St Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar congratulate the achievers for their spectacular performance in X Class Board examination. We are proud to announce that Manisha Gabrani scored 93.6%, Kashish Jhamtani 93.4%, Jatin Garg 91.4% and Himanshi scored 90.6% marks. We appreciate all the students for their dedication & hard work.

Special Public Awareness Campaign organized by District Collector

Under the special awareness campaign (as per the given order by district collector) being run till June 30 to protect the corona, Divisional Commissioner Mr KC Verma Ji has flag off the awareness vehicle of the volunteers of the Scouts and Guides organization from the district collectorate. He also visited St. Edmund’s School Jawahar Nagar Sector 5 on Saturday and a wonderful rescue awareness program was organised for the school staff members. The session was assisted by Mr Rajkumar Rajpal, Sawai Mansingh Skill Lab.

Sanitisation done as a Precautionary Measure against COVID-19

As a precautionary measure against COVID-19, the entire school was sanitized by mopping the school with sodium hypochlorite. Along with Corona Virus Sanitisation, updated security arrangements are made. Director of the school Dr Sudhir Kumar Singh ensured effective sanitisation of school keeping in view the safety of all the staff, teachers and students in the school.

Rajasthan's only School that received prestigious Green School Award from Centre for science and environment

We are extremely honoured to announce that St.Edmund’s school, Jawahar Nagar received the most prestigious Green row award from Centre for science and environment at the Award ceremony held in New Delhi. The school is the only one all over Rajasthan to be bestowed with this award. It was received by school Deputy Director Mr.Kapil Singh and Joint Director Dr.Mrs.Pooja Singh. This outstanding achievement is the continuous and enthusiastic involvement of students and staff in Green practices.
