Happy Classrooms

The Central Board of Secondary Education organized a Master training programme on “Happy Classrooms” at St Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar. More than 85 principals, Vice principals and faculty members of esteemed institutions from all over India participated.
Dr Monika Mehan, Principal (Principal ML Khanna DAV Public School Delhi) and Prof Rishi Pal(Prof. of pedagogy dean humanities& elite sciences in Shri Vishwakarma skill university Haryana) were the resource persons for the workshop.

State Topper

Krishna Soni of class 4 of St. Edmunds School, Jawahar Nagar, made the school proud by achieving the top position in the Abacus Arithmetic Competition organized by Sankhya Abacus. The competition was attended by around 750 students from Jaipur and other districts like Alwar and Bikaner.
The school's joint director Dr Pooja Singh and Principal Mrs Anu Bhatia congratulated Krishna Soni for this magnificent achievement.

Reflection International 2019

Students of St Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar were given the opportunity to display their talents in Reflections International 2019 organised in association with City Montessori School (CMS), Lucknow. Seventy teams from various countries including Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal participated in the competition in which they learned about other countries, shared their own culture and national heritage and exchanged ideas.

The Young Innovators Hunt 2019

St. Edmunds, Jawahar Nagar in collaboration with MNIT-MIIC(Malviya Innovation and Incubation Centre) organized an entrepreneurial challenge “The young Innovators Hunt”, Season III a two-day event on 22 and 23 Aug19. The competition gave students the opportunity to conceive, realize, promote, nurture, and showcase their knowledge-based innovation and entrepreneurial talent. On the first day of the event, about 150 students from 22 schools in Jaipur competed in teams to advance to the next round.

Inter School dance Competition

An Inter-School Group Dance Competition was organized by St Edmund's School, Jawahar Nagar. Many schools including Campus,Seedling nursery,Kidzee,Kids pride participated.
The tiny tots dressed up as Krishna and Radha looked adorable in their traditional costumes. The stage became lightened up when students of different schools staged noticeable dances in the competition.
The graceful dancers of kindergarten gave a mesmerising performance on the theme “Let's praise Kanha” where they depicted the various phases of Lord Krishna’s life left everyone spellbound.

Splendid dance performance by Ms Bimbawati Devi

On Tuesday 20th August 2019, Bimbawati Devi, the daughter of esteemed classical Manipuri dancer and dance exponents Guru Bipin Singh and Guru Kalavati Devi, performed in St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar in association with Spic Macay. Bimbawati Devi, after receiving her training at a very young age from her father went on to perform around the world in countries like USA, UK, Canada, Singapore and Australia, where her performance received critical acclaim.

Independence Day Celebration

St. Edmund ’s School, Jawahar Nagar celebrated 72nd Independence day and remembered with gratitude the sacrifice of the freedom fighter.
The celebration began in the school premises with the unfurling of the National flag followed by a speech with patriotic zeal and fervour.
Tiny tots of the pre-primary classes held a musical presentation of patriotic songs. The occasion concluded with the National Anthem, Vande Mataram, evoking the feeling of patriotism among all present.

Students bring Laurel in Entreprenurial Competition

Jayesh Kalra, Janesh Balchandani and Dhruv Mittal of class XII Science students of St.Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar bagged the 3rd position out of 250 teams and won 30000/- cash prize in an Entrepreneurial competition organised by Anand International college in association with Dainik Bhasker.

The Joint Director of the School, Dr Pooja Singh congratulated and felicitated the students and told them to be successful they need to grab every opportunity and put in sincere efforts.
School Principal Mrs Anu Bhatia also wished them all the good luck and success in future as well.

Capacity Building Workshop English-X

The Central Board of Secondary Education organized a “Capacity Building Programme” on English Class X, Mrs Sita A.kumar, Educator with experience of 30years as a lecturer in BITS, Pilani and various schools in India and International
school in Dubai. Mphil, B. Ed, and Ms Cherry Goyal, PGT Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls School were the resource persons.
