Exchange programme

St. Edmund’s School Jawahar Nagar, has always been phenomenal in terms of building strong relations with other countries. A 10 days exchange programme was arranged between St. Edmunds School Jaipur an institute Saint Dominique .
Several activities were organized to make this visit worth and a great success.
Students and teachers from France were invited to Jaipur to have a quality time and a great interaction.
The programme consisted many cultural activities such as Bollywood dance lessons were given to French students. Rangoli making and poster designing activities took part with a beautiful cultural evening. The guest students were taken to many worth watching monuments such as Taj Mahal,Amer fort, Amar Jawan Jyoti and Iskon temple.
Students from France visited the government school that has been adopted by St. Edmund’s school as a part of community service.
A friendly match was also organized between St. Edmunds School and Saint Dominique school. The guest students enjoyed the annual function rehearsal and got delighted to shop at bapu bazar and enjoyed watching Hindi movie.
The foreign students learn many things under the session “Play with mechanics” in Atal Tinkering Lab.
Students enjoyed their stay with Indian families and appreciate the values and relationship followed here.They also expressed their feelings during cultural evening.

St. Edmund’s School Jawahar Nagar, organized a friendly basketball match with Saint Dominique institute France who have arrived here for cultural Exchange programme and St. Edmund’s school, Jawahar Nagar.

Students from both the school played passionately and showed brilliant dribbling skills and gave a tough fight to their opponents. However, in a close contest, the St Edmunds won the match. This event was a part of an ongoing cultural exchange programme between the two schools.

The school director Dr. Sudhir Singh presented the medals to both the teams and congratulated each and every player for playing with true sporting spirit. The programme concluded with the National anthems of the two nations India and France.

St. Edmund’s School Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur took a wonderful step towards its involvement in the campaign taken as an initiative by Ministry of Environment, forest and climate change on 10 Oct17.
On the occasion school director Mr. Sudhir Singh addressed the school assembly and motivated the students to take a pledge to keep our country clean and pollution free under the campaign “Be the change, create a Behtar India”.
The students took pledge for keeping houses, offices and neighbourhood neat and clean, to
decorate the houses with flowers and earthen diyas and candles and to avoid harmful crackers and to avoid harmful crackers on this Diwali to keep the atmosphere pollution free.

Congratulations!! Dear Parents, our lil Champs and all the members of our Edmund's family for the wonderful achievement for winning the city level trophy in Pro Kabaddi Junior's. Please note that yesterday our champs got a chance to view match with Mr. Abhishek Bachchan. The whole match was telecasted on Star Sports 2 along with school profile.

St. Edmund’s School Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur celebrated the festival “Dussehra” on 27th September 2017 in school with a lot of religious zeal and fervor.

To mark the victory of good over evil and to reinforce the message that good always trimphs over evil,the effigy of Ravana was burnt.
