St. Edmunds, Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur organised a workshop on “Recent changes in the curriculum of accountancy and tips and tricks to deal with the case studies in Business studies” in collaboration with Commerce Teachers’ foundation on 18th August 2018.
The workshop started with the auspicious garlanding ceremony. School Director Dr Sudhir Singh, Joint Director Pooja Singh and Principal Mrs Anu Bhatia embraced CTF founder and general secretary Dr Dinesh Madan. CBSE resource person HOD Accountancy Dept. Mr Gaurav Paliya, CBSE resource person & HOD Business administration Ms Rangini Rao along with them also showed hospitality to other institutions.
The programme started with felicitation to visionary and learned teachers of commerce fraternity-Dr Ranjeet Singh(SJ Public School),Ms Ragini Nayar(MGD Girls School),Ms Anju Khanna(Maheshwari Public School),Mr Sandeep Sethi(SV Public School),Ms Smita Bhatnagar(Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan),Mr Rajendra Duggar(St Anselm Pink),Ms Manju Khosla(Jayshree Periwal).
In the first half of the seminar, Mr Gaurav Paliya and Rangini Rao pervaded about the novel changes in the CBSE curriculum of BST and Accountancy and also guided them for sharing with the students. In the next half queries of the teachers were being asked and solved.
The workshop proved to be an interactive one as teachers shared ideas about the case studies, typology of question and tips of time management and tricks to deal the high order thinking questions. It was a plethora of knowledge as not only from Jaipur but from the outstation schools, teacher of business studies and accountancy were present.

III Annual Colloque French Workshop

St Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar Jaipur hosted the III Annual Colloque International French workshop 2018. The occasion was graced by the honourable guests Mr Romain Camus (Institut Francais, French Embassy), Dr Nidhi Raisinghania (ELLS Dept UOR), Mrs Gaidik Gortina (Institution Saint-Louis, France) along with the professors of Rajasthan University and teachers from different schools in Jaipur.
The program commenced by welcoming the guests. The event included a song performance by students from St Edmund’s School which was appreciated and well received by everyone in attendance.
Hereafter, the workshop was taken over by Mrs Coontz who gave insights into the teaching methodologies of the French language with special emphasis on its pronunciation techniques. The session was followed by an open discussion on noteworthy approaches to incorporate in teaching.
Each participant took part in the activity with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The programme was well organized and highly inspiring. After the programme participation certificates were given to the participants as well as the delegates. Lastly, a vote of thanks was given by the French department on behalf of the school and its team.

To support Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan and spread awareness about the cleanliness campaign, St. Edmund’s school Jawahar Nagar Jaipur participated in “Rang de Jaipur” event organized by Lets contree from 29th June to 1 July 2018 at Gandhi Nagar Railway Station, Jaipur from 6 am onwards. Edmundities vivaciously participated and made this weekend more joyful by contributing their time and efforts in the transformation of dull and dirty railway station into a masterpiece along with 400 volunteers and 40 young artists of Contree rang de organization. Mrs Nutan Mathur (HOD of fine arts) was also present with their students Shiva Arya, Khushi Mathur, Arshi Mathur, Khushi Meena, Akansha Kumari, Aachal Sain, Sneha jhunjhunwala, Priyanshu Singh to guide and motivate them.
The fabulous artwork made by the students was highly appreciated by renowned artists and onlookers. They all felt motivated by the efforts of the students and realized that small efforts can make a huge difference.

St. Edmund’s school Jawahar Nagar Jaipur celebrated 44th foundation day. On this auspicious occasion Director, Dr Sudhir Singh and Principal Mrs Anu Bhatia
paid tribute to late Ranbir Singh (the founder of St. Edmund’s) by garlanding his portrait. Edmundities organized special assembly in which they got a chance to reflect not only the beginnings of the school but also on the significant development since the school inception.
It has been a milestone in the journey of the school which has grown from humble beginnings to its eminent stature today.

The celebrations ended with an inspiring and motivational speech by the school director Dr Sudhir Singh.
